Excellent Tool! It is a tool that allows you to easily manage and operate support cases, they have been growing in functionalities. It allows you to grow at a business level by optimally managing technology resources, easy use and adaptation of operators. The tool has been improving day by day, it seems to me a very good option for growth.
FreeScout is an open source app written in PHP. It took less than an hour for us to download FreeScout and have it running on our own servers. We’ve been very happy with our move to FreeScout. The product is extremely solid. The developer is very responsive and handles many issues in public on Github. If you are a web design agency and take customer support tickets, I’d seriously consider FreeScout. Yes, it does require a little setup and maintenance. But overall, FreeScout an affordable and reliable alternative to some of the high-priced, closed-source platforms.
I love this software. We needed something free and robust for a large group of 100s of volunteers that sprung up to help tackling a big problem related to COVID-19, and you guys saved our butt. It’s been working great so far, and has just the right number of features.

One aspect of Freescout which we appreciate very much coming from a very top heavy and overbuilt system is how light Freescout is on server and browser resources. Freescout is the only open source helpdesk written in PHP and simple enough to administer for a small business. The other open source solutions are either hideous and ugly or so overwrought that installing and maintaining a working install would almost require hiring another server admin with specialised knowledge.
Thank you for developing this application on AGPL. It is much easier to use than other open source solutions. It is really wonderful. It will help my association. I am working to improve French translation, I hope I push it soon!

Very easy to install, very easy to configure, very easy to use – similar to Help Scout. I discovered FreeScout on AlternativeTo where I was looking for a replacement of Freshdesk. Very surprised to discover this one! I used to use Help Scout when it was free and very existed by this open source project. Very similar to Help Scout so it was a question of minutes for me to configure and use the application… Can’t wait to see what is next for this app.
This is only great open source alternative for HelpScout. Using this for events and collaboration between teams for small projects. Indeed its very good option compared to paid services if you want to keep an archive of your data forever and prevent data access by service provider.
